All recipes make certain "Paleo-ish" assumptions:
- Use Organic veggies & fruits when possible and advisable (see Dirty Dozen & Clean Fifteen List below, Click HERE for the Printable Grocery Checklist)
- Use Grass-fed meats, butter and dairy when possible
- Use Organic/Free Range/Cage Free eggs when possible (Organic is best, not fed GMO feeds, but Free Range/Cage Free is better than regular)
- Never cook anything in any type of vegetable oil except for coconut oil (or palm oil if allergic)...cooking in grass-fed butter, coconut oil, tallow (beef fat) or lard (pork fat) is best. I personally eat bacon every day and keep the bacon grease in a container in the fridge (it will go rancid given enough time). Since I do that, I NEVER have to buy oil except for coconut oil.
